The JARR RANCH
The JARR Ranch was purchased in 2006 by partners whose only goal was to produce the best and biggest bucks for our family, guests and the few guided hunts offered each year. Since the purchase we have been on a strict management program to produce the highest quality native whitetail possible. To date, the ranch has never been hunted by anyone but family and guests, for culling and management purposes only. On the property are several large three-man blinds used so that the hunter, the guide and a guest can enjoy the hunt.
Management on the ranch consists of year round protein and corn feeding which ensures the deer and other wildlife continue to move into our ranch. Our several large water ponds provide an abundance of water for the wildlife that ensures that they make our ranch their home. In 2006 we began culling deer that didn't meet the quality and standards of our management program. Since then we have seen more 8 pointers and better bucks every year. The proof of this effort is in the pudding. The first year we only saw 8 to 9 point bucks with a few 10 pointers. Now the 10 pointers and plus bucks equal the number of our now solid 8 to 9 pointers with high rack.
